Ofir Libstein was a unique and visionary leader—a true social entrepreneur with a deep commitment to nurturing Jewish leadership in both Israel and the Diaspora. While his life was tragically cut short, the vision he shaped continues to inspire us. We feel a profound responsibility to carry forward his legacy by realizing the dreams he began and advancing the initiatives he could not complete.
In Ofir’s memory and spirit, we are proud to launch a comprehensive educational and leadership development model: The Ofir Leadership Program.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Or Ofir Foundation, the Gesher Leadership Institute, and Ammunition Hill, organizations united by a shared dedication to cultivating the next generation of impactful leaders.
The program’s mission is to identify, nurture, and support talented leaders committed to making meaningful contributions—both locally and globally—across key arenas of Jewish life. At its core, the Ofir Leadership Network seeks to build bridges across sectors, cultures, streams, and geographies within the Jewish people, fostering unity and collaboration through leadership.
Together, we aim to develop a vibrant and enduring network of leaders who will shape the future of the Jewish world with courage, purpose, and a spirit of shared responsibility.
The first cohort of the Ofir Leadership Program was inaugurated in November 2024, marking the conclusion of the year of mourning and symbolizing a new beginning—the launch of the Global Leadership Network. This moment also signaled the start of what will become an annual leadership development course, committed to shaping a new generation of impactful Jewish leaders.
Each cohort will bring together approximately 30 emerging and established leaders from both Israel and the Diaspora, selected for their commitment to making a meaningful difference within the Jewish world.
The program offers a high-level educational and training framework, alongside a vibrant and active alumni network, designed to engage with and address the pressing challenges facing Jewish communities worldwide—challenges that have become even more urgent in the wake of the Iron Swords war.
includes:
Ten online sessions focusing on leadership theory, Jewish identity, community challenges, and cross-sector collaboration
Two in-person seminars—one in Israel and one in Europe—providing direct exposure to Jewish communities, initiatives, and leadership in action
Expert-led workshops, lectures, and field training, covering a range of social, cultural, and strategic leadership topics
Mentorship and guidance in the development and implementation of both local and global initiatives, supported by leading professionals from across sectors
Through this program, we aim to empower participants to become proactive changemakers, building meaningful bridges across communities and continents, in the spirit of Ofir Libstein’s
